We take your privacy very seriously: your personal information will remain confidential, will not be rented or sold to third parties and will only be used to serve our guests in their room reservation requests at our Derby Hotel.

General Data Protection Regulations (GPDR) – Privacy and Personal Data Protection
By our regulations, we comply with the European General Data Protection Regulations. The Website of our Hotel, collects data provided by the user himself during his contact with us, through our online form. These data are not stored in a database and are only used for the purpose of exchanging e-mails and/or telephone contacts. We may use this data to book a room in our hotel.
In accordance with the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data and, as from 25 May 2018, with European Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), users whose data have been collected have the right to consult these data, to request their correction or, if necessary, their deletion. Users may also object to the processing of data concerning them. These rights can be exercised by sending a written request by e-mail to reception@hotelderby.be
The Derby Hotel has set up a backup system for customer data on various digital (back-up) and non-digital media, necessary to guarantee permanent availability of information and to effectively combat any computer attack (digital attacks on computers) by malicious software such as “Ransomware or ransom software”.
Complaints in case of violation of the Belgian rules applicable to the protection of personal data on this Internet Site can be addressed to the Belgian Commission for the Protection of Privacy, at the address commission@privacycommission.be.
